What is WIN?
The Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) has re-launched to engage over 93,000 鶹Ai University alumnae in the intellectual, cultural and educational life of the University. We are looking to form a vibrant community of alumnae and friends to inspire and empower women to become leading volunteers and visionary donors.
“We are excited to re-launch this community and grow a supportive network for each other and the mission of 鶹Ai,” says Jeanne Marano, assistant vice president for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement. “Join us as we embark on this journey. We are looking for representation across all professional disciplines and from every career stage – from senior executives to young professionals to entrepreneurs.”
The objective of the group is to increase the number of women meaningfully engaged in University programs, empower the next generation of leaders and strengthen ties between and among alumnae and the University through a strong network of women committed to supporting 鶹Ai.

What’s Your Personal Brand?
In January, Tara Chiari, a seasoned Career & Executive Leadership Coach led us in a leadership development workshop, What’s Your Personal Brand?
Personal Branding is how you package yourself and communicate your unique skills and the value you bring to a team or company. It’s a mix of how you present yourself and how others see you. Building an authentic brand and taking control of it will position you to leave a lasting impression. A personal brand can open pathways to opportunities and boost your career velocity.
In this hands-on and engaging workshop, participants were introduced to personal branding and why it’s essential to your career. A series of practical activities help guide individuals to define their individuality, focus on their values and clarify their purpose. By the end of this workshop, our alumni and friends prepared a compelling Personal Brand Statement and attained a heightened sense of self-awareness towards Personal Image and Executive Presence.
